Minoan Culture.

& burnt down every palace.

The Dorian’s moved into the war-torn

Homer
& Myths
o
Stories were orally told.
o
Homer lived at the end of the Dark Ages.
o
Recorded stories of the Trojan War in
the Iliad & the Odyssey.
§ Written
750-700 BC.
o
The Trojan War was probably one of the last
conquests of the Mycenaean’s.
o
Odyssey was 12,110 lines of dactylic
hexameter.
